The Prospect Exchange (TPE) is pleased to announce the addition of ICEBERG Sports Analytics technology and platform to better serve teams, coaches, scouts and individual players. The new software and platform will allow TPE to offer two new cutting-edge products to support team and individual development through video and analytics.

ICEBERG Sports Analytics was introduced to the North American market just over 6 years ago and is considered a pioneer in AI technology and machine learning.  The Toronto based company has served clients worldwide and at every level of the game from the NHL’s New York Islanders, NCAA programs and youth hockey teams throughout North America.

With this acquisition, coaches will be able to view and analyze game video and analytics through the new TPE Team platform, while individual players will continue to have with the opportunity to Evaluate, Share, & Advance with our TPE Player platform. Managing Partner of TPE John Becanic will oversee both TPE Team and TPE Player.

“TPE will now be able to support teams with video and analytics, while also allowing players access to their individual shifts and stats”, Becanic stated. “With this acquisition, TPE now controls its production and the ability to create deeper and new business relationships.  The current technology, coupled with some changes we will make to improve the team and individual experience will be first in class and serve as a must have tool for all Youth and Junior hockey programs.”

With this upgrade in technology, TPE will move office headquarters to Blaine, MN. Please stay tuned for more big announcements on TPE Team.

Ever since The Prospect Exchange (TPE) hit the scene back in 2019, Minnesota Advance Program (MAP) and Flexx Hockey Institute of Training (FHIT) have been huge proponents of our platform. Justin Johnson and his team have continued to provide their customers with access to TPE video and analytics. The relationship between MAP, FHIT, and Mega Goaltending with TPE has proven to help young players grow as they pursue their goals, and has established TPE’s brand of video and analytics to be a powerful, indispensable tool.

Over the last three months, TPE has worked with MAP and FHIT in the “State of Hockey” to produce over 600 games featuring Minnesota HS boys and girls, Bantam boys, and youth girls. The extended coverage in the state is a direct reflection of how well the TPE platform is received by players and coaches alike. The easy and intuitive interface makes it easier than ever for players to get detailed feedback, and for coaches to get easy, direct access to players game and shift footage without having to filter through hours of game film.

Dan Daikawa, a veteran coach with 6 years of experience behind the bench in the NAHL, is excited about the partnership with TPE. “We feel that as a skills training company it’s important to see and work with coaches that can help work on individual skills that we see in the video to create better habits and details in their games.”
